Youth Soccer

A recreational program designed to introduce and develop the skills in the game of soccer with an emphasis on sportsmanship and team building.  As age increases, higher levels of play and strategies are taught.  Check the YMCA calendar for registration dates, and for coaches meetings.

The North Texas State Soccer Association sanctions our soccer program.

Registration now thru August 23 to be placed on the same team as last season.

August 30 is the last day for regular registration.
Cost $25 for Family Member
$45 for Youth Member
$85 for Non-Members

Additional sibling discounts and financial aid are available for all sports programs.

Family memberships receive a 50% discount on the registration cost.

Ages Ages 4 – 17 years old (Must be 4 as of July 31, 2008 to play)
 

Lawhon Soccer Academy

This will be a great start to the fall soccer season! Coach John Lawhon, former Coppell HS Head Soccer Coach and current Corsicana HS Head Soccer Coach, will bring his highly successful Lawhon Soccer Academy to the Corsicana YMCA.  In Coach Lawhon's 20 years of coaching soccer, he has received numerous local, state and national awards.  In 2004 he led the Coppell Cowboy Soccer Team to win the State 5A Championship.

This camp will teach the beginning player the fundamentals of the game through fun games and drills.   For the more advanced player, skill development and tactics are the emphasis.

** Wear shin guards and bring water bottle and sunscreen

6-11 from 9:30am-Noon

12-12-18 from 5:30pm-8pm

$25 for 5 year old session ONLY

** No 2nd Member discount.  Only sibling discount of $5.00
