AED Course

General Information

This course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and giving first aid for choking. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of four major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, and foreign body airway obstruction.

Bloodborne Pathogens Course

General Information

This program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the US Department of Labor, OSHA bloodborne pathogens standards.

Childcare and Babysitting Safety Course

General Information

This program is a community educational program that covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. Topics include child safety, play, feeding, and emergencies. This course also includes CPR with AED and First Aid.

Community CPR with AED Course

General Information

This is a modular course that teaches the lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child and infant victims. Students also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. The program is divided into three different courses providing choices.

Disaster Preparedness Course

General Information

This program covers natural and man-made disasters. It is designed to help reduce fear and uncertainty through its message of personal preparation and planning. It discusses disasters such as fire, terrorism, mail and bomb threats, tornadoes and floods.
