Our Pool

Our swimming pool is indoors, so classes and lessons can go year round. Pool temperature is kept between 82 and 86 degrees. Size of the pool is 25 yards long and ranges from 3 ft to 9 ft deep. Lifeguards are on duty whenever the pool is open. We have open adult lap swim and family swim times available. Our pool schedule changes during the summer months.

Pool Rules

1. A certified lifeguard must be on duty for the pool to be open.
2. Must be 16 or older to swim during adult lap swim.
3. Posted pool rules must be followed at all times.
4. Youth under 6 years old must be accompanied by a parent during fun swim.
5. Parents must accompany children during family swim.
6. The YMCA reserves the right to use any pool time as training/evaluation session.
7. Swim tests are given at the beginning of every fun swim.
8. Inflatables are not allowed.
9. Non-swimmers that are shorter than chest deep in the shallow water must be within arms each of a parent or wear a lifejacket at all times.
